Great Buy

Sharing a picture of a new lampshade I purchased last week at Walmart.I thought it was really nice and it fit in with my decorating scheme.Planning on sewing calico curtains soon.I'll share a picture with you when they are done.I'm finally giving up my wordpress blog for blogger.All I ever get on that blog is spammers,like over 3000 at a time.Tired of it.Spring still hasn't sprung in our neck of the woods.We had a freeze warning lastnight and again for tonight.Yesterday and lastnight we had wind gusts of over 45mph and it was raining and just darn cold.What happened to Spring?Have a great day.

Birthday

Sharing a picture of me and my Great Granddaughter Kyra on my seventy second birthday which I celebrated April 25.Kyra is truly a miracle baby.She was born weighing a little under 3 pounds.

Night Out

Last Saturday Jody and Alicia took me out for my birthday supper at Logans Roadhouse.All three of us but Jack ordered the salmon dinner and he ordered the fried cheeseburger.I couldn't eat alll of mine and had to take some homme in a box but it was delicious.My birthday isn't till the 25th of this month but they will be busy with prom around that time so we decided to do it early.After dinner we went to see Jurassic Park in 3D.We had an awesome time and hope to do it again soon.Our weather lately has been so weird.Snow and rain and wind,crazy.Don't know when I'll post again?Been slow at it.Thanks for dropping by.

After Easter

Been a while since I posted.Easter sunday was great and Jody and Alicia were our hosts.The meal was awesome.I baked and apple crumb pie by request from Jody.Been painting a mural on my diningroom walls.It's turning out really good and I will post some pictures of it later.Not the easiest thing to do but I really enjoy doing it.Have a great Wednesday everyone :-)

Really Surprising Pleasant Day

It's turning out to be a really nice day,the sun is shining,but we are in a winter storm watch starting tomorrow afternoon,with winds gusting to 40mph,and 3-6 inches of snow.Damit,I want snow for Christmas,just seems more like Christmas to me anyway.Tonight,we're on our way to see "The Hobbit" and from all the previews I've seen,it looks like it will be an incredible movie and it's in 3D.Excited to see it,and we're making it a family get together with the kids.Will be fun!Got to get out of here and go eat lunch and get busy doing something besides being on the computer,all kidding aside,I do enjoy my pc.Take care friends and have a great day.See ya soon
